AIDS 2008, the 27th Annual International AIDS conference will showcase important new scientific research and feature hundreds of sessions addressing the major challenges facing the global response to AIDS. In addition to conference sessions, delegate activities will include satellite meetings, exhibitions, the Global Village and the Cultural Programme.
The UCSF Positive Health Program-HIV/AIDS Division at SFGH along with other UCSF groups of the AIDS Research Institute (ari.ucsf.edu) will have a conference booth. More information on live or paper presentations by PHP investigators will be posted as it becomes available.
Medical Management of AIDS Conference
December 13-15
Now in its 19th year, the Medical Management of AIDS conference at San Francisco's Fairmont Hotel features comprehensive presentations and group sessions on a wide array of clinical and research topics including HIV oral disease, pain management, new medications, metabolic complications, HIV/TB/malaria, pediatric AIDS and many more. Chaired by PHP's Drs. Diane Havlir and Meg Newman, the 3-day course runs from December 13-15 and is CME-accredited.
