Optimal health involves more than clinical care alone. At the Positive Health Program we offer support groups to promote health and wellness for patients with particular needs.
HIV/Hepatitus C Co-Infection Group
If you are living with both HIV and Hepatitus-C you are not alone. This weekly group, led by a professional clinician, meets weekly to discuss health and medical information in a supportive group of other people interested in take charge of their health.
Buprenorphine Education & Support Group
Buprenorphine is a prescription medicine used to treat adults addicted to drugs such as heroin, Vicodin, Percocet, Oxycontin, morphine and other narcotic painkillers. This weekly group offers education, counseling, and support to those currently receiving buprenorphine therapy, as well as those who are interested in finding out if buprenorphine is the right medication for them.
