Here at Positive Health we believe in enabling people to survive and thrive. This involves more than testing, monitoring and medication. It includes mental health and wellbeing support that provides positive, affirming and complementary benefits for all people.

Counseling & Social Work
Positive Health Program staff includes licensed social workers who are available for one-on-one counseling and case management designed to meet individual needs. As appropriate, referrals to psychiatry are also made. Please contact Karena Franses at (415) 206-2480 for further information.

STOP
The Stimulant Treatment Outpatient Program (STOP) provides intensive outpatient treatment for adults with cocaine, methamphetamine or other stimulant abuse or dependence. A STOP staff member is available to meet clients at PHP on Ward 86. Please contact Valerie Gruber, PhD at (415) 502-5777 for more information.

Stonewall
The Stonewall Project is a harm reduction program for men who have sex with men, who have questions about speed, who want information about speed, and/or who want help with reducing or stopping their speed use. Clients are not required to be clean and sober. A Stonewall staff member is available to meet clients at PHP on Ward 86. Please contact Michael Siever at (415) 502-1999 for more information.
